This is aftermath of an apartment fire In Maple Heights. Mutual Aid was requested. Several people were rescued from their balconies. Some were treated for smoke inhalation but no serious injuries were reported. About 12 units are uninhabitable according to board upcrews

Officer involved shooting overnight in Lorain. Per LPD an officer shot a person on 17th Street near Ashland around midnight. The person shot is hospitalized. No real details have been released. The scene was between two homes and around a car in a driveway
