Police have identified a man who died after a police-involved shooting Saturday night, as well as the officer who shot the man. The shooting occurred in the Hilltop area of west Columbus Saturday night, and police say Steven Tyler Reed, 25, died in that shooting. Officers responded around 9:30 p.m. to the 100 block of Eldon Avenue on a reported domestic violence complaint.

The fire in a detached garage in Clark County may have started from a wood burning stove, according to Bethel Twp. Fire Chief Andy Ehrhart. Ehrhart said the fire spread to a house causing minor damage to the outside.

One person is hospitalized after a shooting in east Columbus early Friday morning. Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Kimball Place around 3:47am on the report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to Grant Medical Center in stable condition.
